Growing up in the country during the 1950's leaves memories of a simpler life. Stories passed on meant so much because you could feel them settle in to stay. It was really living. It was before the age of the Internet and other distractions. Come enjoy some of the experiences many of our children will never know or be able to appreciate.

Mable ~ November 2010
Good Bye Mable ~ I love you
I was at a loss for words to send Mable's son's. I found the right card
and for the first time ~ I wrote a poem ~ I am sure it is not "politically
correct" ~ but hey ~ it is a poem none the less. Cheryl
So the card said ~
"God Blessed your family ~ it is plain to see. Mable left behind a
"part of me". Her smile was huge and her hugs addicting. God Bless
her heart it was never ending". With big tears and fond memories ~ Cheryl
